Biography
Alessandro Timpanaro is an Italian photographer based in Milan.
After growing up in Bari, he moved to Venice in 2019 to study Fashion Design at IUAV University, where he graduated. It was during these years that he began to engage with photography, initially as a tool to reflect on fashion, and gradually as a way to navigate and interpret a city that was not his own.
His practice is shaped by an observation of the everyday, focusing on ordinary elements and reframing familiar subjects with a quiet, understated approach. Maintaining a documentary sensibility within fashion photography, his work reflects a curious and sensitive gaze, attentive to the subtle dynamics of the environments he inhabits.
