Biography
Francesco Terramagra is a filmmaker and photographer based in Milan, born in Sicily.
His practice is driven by a continuous exploration of both analog and contemporary tools, through which he develops a raw and experimental visual language. Working across moving image and photography, he builds a style that contrasts with more polished commercial aesthetics.
His work explores the tension between texture, imperfection and visual construction, often pushing towards a more visceral and unconventional form of image-making. His visual language is defined by a harsh and experimental approach, reflecting a research-driven and instinctive sensibility toward contemporary visual culture.
